Crynodeb

Kickstart a meaningful career where you’ll be trained and supported to help others achieve their employment goals as part of a passionate team in Surrey.

The Role
At Via, we care about helping people overcome substance misuse and we feel that employment goes hand in hand with recovery. Our award-winning IPS Into Work teams support people to find meaningful employment that aligns with their ambitions so that they have a platform to build a brighter future.

You will have an opportunity to learn, train and develop as an IPS Employment Specialist and join the wider team in Surrey to provide a holistic employment support service to people across the geographical area.

Do you want to do something meaningful and help others? If the answer is yes, apply and start your career with Via!

The role is extremely rewarding, and you can make a lasting positive impact! A normal week will be:

• Working closely with the team, carry a small caseload to support people to help them achieve their dreams through personalised employment support.
• Collaborating and contributing with wider teams including recovery practitioners, nurses, support workers and community organisations to encourage referrals.
• Learning effective employer engagement strategies to have quality contacts with a range of employers.

We require a passion to help others and a desire to contribute back to the community. This is an entry-level role and you will be given training to support your transition into the workplace.

The Service
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based employment support model that helps individuals with a background of substance misuse find work that aligns with their wellbeing.

Location
You will work in Surrey across multiple locations including i-access, Laurel House, Farnham Rd, Guildford GU2 7LX, with a willingness travel as required.

There will also be remote working and working in the communities. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed, and having a car will be advantageous.

There may be occasions where you will be required to work across different locations within Surrey to support the team. In addition, attendance at a wider team meeting in London will be required once a month.

To see the generous range of benefits we offer at Via including 30 days annual leave for all new starters, our health and wellbeing initiatives, financial perks and development opportunities – visit our Benefits Package
