What Will You Be doing?
As a Trainee Claims Handler, you’ll become a key part of our friendly and professional claims team, learning how to manage insurance claims from start to finish.
From day one, you’ll be supported with a comprehensive training programme and ongoing reviews throughout your two-year development plan. You’ll start by managing a small caseload of Credit Hire and non-serious Personal Injury claims, growing your knowledge and confidence as you go.
Once you’re fully up to speed, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio and play a vital role in helping customers, brokers, and legal professionals through the claims process.
Specifically, you’ll learn to:
- Investigate and settle allocated claims
- Communicate with policyholders, solicitors and third parties by phone and email
- Maintain accurate estimates and reserve records for outstanding claims
- Ensure all claims are handled fairly and within the appropriate timeframes
What Will You Need?
To join us as a Trainee Claims Handler, you’ll need:
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English
