Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver software solutions that meet business needs.
Work with developers to clarify requirements, validate technical feasibility, and support during development and testing phases.
Create and maintain documentation including process flows, data mappings, user stories, and technical specifications.
Query databases and perform data analysis to support business insights, QA testing, and issue resolution.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups as part of Agile/Scrum teams.
Support system integrations, data migrations, and API configurations.
Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues across systems and applications.
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide support during go-lives and deployments.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
2–5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst with strong technical skills, or similar role.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for data extraction, automation, and analysis.
Proficient in requirement management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Trello to track user stories, manage backlogs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Skilled in data analysis and reporting, with hands-on experience using SQL, Excel, and BI tools like Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and insights.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, with experience using tools like Postman and Swagger for API testing and validation; familiar with JSON/XML data structures.
Experienced in creating system diagrams and process flows using Lucidchart, Draw.io, Visio, and documentation platforms like Notion and Google Workspace.
Solid grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and QA teams.
Able to support QA processes by writing test cases, test plans, and working with tools such as TestRail and Zephyr to ensure product quality and performance.
Basic understanding of version control systems and Git workflows, including GitHub and GitLab, to facilitate collaboration and code tracking in tech teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Macros, SQL, VLOOKUP in Excel), Jira, Confluence, Tableau.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise software.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience integrating cloud-based applications with on-premise systems.
Understanding of API concepts, RESTful services, and ability to analyze and design API integrations between different systems.
Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are preferred.
