Job Purpose:

TESTQ Technologies is an IT services and solutions company whose offerings spans over variety of industry sectors with strong technical, domain and process expertise helping clients grow their businesses and decrease operational costs on continuous basis in an ever-changing business environment.
This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Business Analyst-Charles River who will play a major role in the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Charles River.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for system enhancements, configuration, and reporting.
Work with Charles River development and support teams to design and implement solutions.
Support system integration and data flows between CRIMS and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., Bloomberg, trading platforms, OMS, EMS, risk systems).
Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate defect management and resolution.
Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for proposed changes.
Provide support during implementation phases, including go-live and post-production support.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
Highly experienced Business Analyst / Technical Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on expertise in Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) configurations and integrations.
Proven track record of successful project implementations across investment management platforms, including Charles River IMS, BlackRock Aladdin, Eagle Pace, SS&C Sylvan, and HI Portfolio. Adept at working with front-to-back investment workflows, compliance systems, and enterprise data management platforms.
Extensive experience configuring and maintaining modules such as Manager Workbench, Blotters, Rebalancing, System Administration, Compliance Testing, Batch Import/Trade Export, Reference Data Management, Cash Flow Forecasting, Stored Queries, FIX Setup, Workflow Monitor, Navigation Customization, and User/Group Permissions.
Involved in end-to-end project implementation and integration of Charles River IMS, BlackRock Aladdin, Eagle Pace (Enterprise Data), SS&C Sylvan (Performance & Attribution), and HI Portfolio (Accounting System).
Proficiency in data analysis using tools like SQL, Excel, or Power BI.
Experience with order management systems (OMS), trading workflows, and FIX protocol.
Hands-on experience with various SAP versions and modules including ECC 6.0, SAP 4.7/4.6C, S/4 HANA 1809, SD Module, LE (Logistics Execution), and Simple Logistics 1809 Version.
Proficient in writing SQL queries and stored procedures; skilled in Excel Macros, VBA, C#, Perl, JavaScript, Python, R, Business Objects, and Crystal Reports.
Participated in Charles River IMS upgrade and consolidation projects. Strong coding background within CRD/CRIMS compliance tools with in-depth knowledge of investment management compliance configuration, rule writing, testing, exception handling, and issue resolution.
Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks including the Investment Company Act of 1940, Internal Revenue Code, UCITS III-V, MiFID, AIFMD, SEC, IRS, and client-specific mandates. Skilled in interpreting fund documents such as prospectuses, investment policies, and SAI (Statement of Additional Information).
Experienced in unit and integration testing across platforms like SimCorp; proficient in facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT) and validating system configurations against client requirements.
Sound understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the application of DevOps tools across development, testing, QA, deployment, and environment configuration stages.
