Job title: Charles River Business Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Charles River Business Analyst for a future role to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of front-to-back investment workflows and deep experience across OMS, Trading, Compliance, Risk, and Performance modules. This role will play a critical part in bridging the gap between technology and business, supporting regulatory initiatives like MiFID II, and driving effective data governance and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and processes related to Charles River IMS, including Order Management, Trading, Risk & Compliance, and Performance & Attribution.

Serve as a subject matter expert on Charles River capabilities, integrations, and workflows, including cloud-based deployments.

Work with stakeholders to design and document current and future state business processes using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS.

Lead or participate in compliance monitoring and reporting initiatives leveraging Charles River Compliance.

Support regulatory initiatives such as MiFID II, ensuring adherence across trading and compliance functions.

Facilitate integration efforts using Charles River APIs and work closely with technical teams for successful implementation.

Conduct and support FIX testing for trade execution workflows.

Support data quality and governance initiatives; work with Power BI and Alteryx to build dashboards and perform data analysis.

Act as a liaison between investment, compliance, and technology teams to gather requirements and validate deliverables.

Contribute to Charles River Cloud migration and optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in asset management or investment banking with a focus on Charles River IMS.

Deep domain knowledge of Fixed Income, Derivatives, and multi-asset class trading workflows.

Strong understanding of Charles River OMS, Compliance, Risk, and Performance & Attribution modules.

Proficiency in process modeling tools: Visio, Lucidchart, and ARIS.

Experience in compliance monitoring and reporting, particularly related to MiFID II.

Familiarity with Charles River APIs, FIX protocol, and system integration best practices.

Experience with Power BI and Alteryx for data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Charles River Certification is strongly preferred.

Prior experience with Charles River Cloud implementation or migration.

Experience working in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.

Understanding of data governance frameworks in financial services.
