Job title: Charles River Support Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Charles River Support Analyst for a future role in providing comprehensive application and technical support for the Charles River Investment Management Solution (IMS). This role will focus on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across multiple Charles River modules including OMS, Trading, Compliance, Performance & Attribution, and Reporting, with a particular emphasis on working within Charles River Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first and second line of support for Charles River IMS, assisting portfolio managers, traders, compliance officers, and operations staff.
Monitor and support all core modules including Order Management System (OMS), Trading, Performance & Attribution, Risk & Compliance, Charles River Cloud and Reporting Engine
Triage and manage incidents and service requests using Charles River Support Portal, Infor Support Portal, Zendesk, and Freshservice.
Coordinate with CRD (Charles River Development) support and internal teams for issue escalation, tracking, and resolution.
Use Charles River API to troubleshoot data integration issues and validate system-to-system workflows.
Maintain knowledge of Charles River Cloud infrastructure and release schedules; perform regression testing during upgrades or patch cycles.
Support end-users during daily investment operations, ensuring system availability and integrity.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and trade breaks in coordination with custodians and downstream systems.
Analyze compliance breaches and system alerts using the Charles River Compliance module and assist with rule interpretation.
Generate reports and support custom reports via the Charles River Reporting Engine.
Document known issues, solutions, and procedural guides in a knowledge base to aid in future support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, or related field.
3–6 years of experience supporting Charles River IMS in an asset management, wealth management, or investment operations environment.
Hands-on knowledge of Charles River OMS, Trading, Risk & Compliance, Performance & Attribution, and Reporting modules.
Experience supporting or working within Charles River Cloud environments.
Familiarity with Charles River APIs and data integration concepts.
Experience with issue tracking and support tools: Zendesk, Fresh service, Infor Support Portal, and Charles River Support Portal.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve applications, user, and data-related issues.
Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques to investigate issues.
Understanding of trade lifecycle and regulatory compliance processes in financial services.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
Strong documentation and knowledge management practices.
