Crynodeb

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Transformation Delivery Unit to co-ordinate, support and manage delivery of a portfolio of programmes and projects. Supporting the implementation of key improvement programmes and projects in accordance with recognised project management methodology, the post holder will ensure the projects/programmes maintain project products and documentation, co-ordinate and manage project/programme governance and delivery requirements including benefit realisation activities. Provide expert advice and guidance regarding project methodology including identifying, capturing, and managing risks and issues. Practice and encourage a disciplined approach to record keeping and project governance. This will include preparation of reports, agendas, and meeting notes/action logs, and maintenance of an audit trail of programme documentation. As a senior member of the TDU team, the post holder will ensure that the outputs of the team are high quality and subject to appropriate senior approval prior to release, providing feedback and coaching to other team members to encourage development and increase confidence of the project managers. At particular points within the lifecycle of the Improvement Portfolio the post holder will be required to support senior clinical and operational teams to define and initiate new projects, guiding teams through planning stages and development of project initiation documentation. The post holder will need experience of project and programme implementation, have excellent communication skills and be willing and eager to learn and join a team of growing programme and project management professionals.
