Working in a very friendly and supportive Child Health department, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join an established and expanding multidisciplinary team. As a member of a dedicated and supportive multi-disciplinary team, including other Clinical Psychologists, you will have the support & supervision of colleagues from a variety of disciplines, with opportunities to develop particular interests relevant to child & adolescent mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.

The team has a number of options available for flexible and hybrid working, including home-working with appropriate IT equipment and support. The team has dedicated office and clinic space as well as administrative support.

You will be an active, autonomous member of a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist autism assessment services to children, young people and familiesacross North Derbyshire. Your role will include:
• Supporting and providing highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and post-diagnostic support for autistic children/young people and their families.
• Providing specialist knowledge and expert advice and support about autism to the Child Health care unit.
• Carrying out complex neuropsychological assessments for children and young people with neurological conditions.
• Being a member of a multi-disciplinary Child Health service and leading/contributing to service developments around the delivery of neurodevelopmental assessments and post-diagnostic support.
• Advising on and supporting the delivery of evidence-based interventions for autistic young people, working closely with colleagues in Child Health and CAMHS.
• Providing clinical supervision and management of staff within the Child Development Psychology Team.
