Crynodeb
The main responsibilities of the role include:
· Identify, plan and schedule the upgrade, testing and deployment of new applications and network changes where required.
· Ensure all on-site training networks and infrastructure remains’ technologically current, secure, well managed and documented. Including ensuring accreditation, change control, business continuity and security requirements are met.
· Coordinate and act as the primary point of contact for the training systems, working closely with users, contracted service providers and other Ministry of Defence organisations where needed.
· Provide expert support to the Senior Management Board and for any information technology projects, including recommendations for the adoption of new technologies.
· Deal with information technology finance plans and finance applications for the school as required. · Undertake the duties of the IT Security Officer (ITSO) for the college.
· Line management of the support team, currently 3 EO posts. · Support and visit the detached school locations where required.
