Summary
This role sits within Training Support Wing of DSLA, providing Course Design, Maintenance and Review of pan-DSLA courses. The position is both varied and exciting for those looking to learn and develop their skills in a military environment.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the design of a full range of DSLA courses to include production, monitoring, maintenance and review of all elements of training and the associated documentation.
Ensure that training and the use of the required resources are properly approved by the appropriate training authorities.
Provide specialist consultation for establishments, departments and personnel as required to assist with design, production and implementation of courses ensuring the agreed training delivery target date is met.
In conjunction with the subject matter experts, select appropriate learning solution giving full consideration to blended learning and technology-based solutions.
Liaise with appropriate SME’s in order to produce and complete the Course Training Documentation and any blended learning solution.
Liaise with Internal Validation to develop appropriate testing as required to validate training.
Coordinate and control of the piloting of newly designed courses including the submission of any required amendments.
Liaise with internal and external agencies as required.
Recommend any refinements / improvements that may be considered necessary or cost effective and co-ordinate and assess proposals to amend training.
There is an opportunity to further develop competencies through Courses which can be provided while in role (no timeline, this is optional and will be supported by line management).
