As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Runners Need and Snow + Rock to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!
How will you make an impact?
- Selecting and delivering a balanced, commercial, compelling, and well-planned product range in line with the company strategy
- Performing analysis and reviews on range and product performance
- Fostering supplier relationships to maximise terms and own brand joint business plans
- Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver concepts to the customer
- Selecting products to be featured in Marketing Campaigns and Visual Merchandising initiatives
- Building collaborative relationships with key business stakeholders to drive the execution of the product strategy
- Deputising for the Buyer
- Reviewing and understanding the weekly trading performance and achieved KPIs with the Merchandisers, providing insight and suggesting actions
- Completing store visits to ensure the key priorities of the “go-to market” strategy are being adhered to and collections are landing as planned
- Visiting suppliers and attending trade fairs in the UK and Europe
Please note this role is 40 hours per week.
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Experience working as a Junior Buyer/Senior Assistant Buyer across multiple product categories
- Experience in fashion/lifestyle clothing
- Commercial thinking and market awareness
- Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence others
- Management experience
