Please note this role is predominantly working from home but you will be required to work 1-2 days per week from our office in Kemble.

As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Runners Need and Snow + Rock to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!
How will you make an impact?
- Assisting the Buyer in the selection and buying of ranges of technical and outdoor lifestyle clothing for retail stores, web sales, B2B and mail order
- Supporting with presentations for sign-off meetings and the seasonal review process
- Working closely with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Omni Channel to generate and communicate key product direction
- Building supplier relationships and ensuring the best price and margin for the product through negotiations
- Continually assessing product ranges from key competitors
- Supporting the Buyer at regular range reviews
- Managing competitor and trend analysis
- Seasonal photo shoot preparation and participation
- Sample management
- Completing store visits to ensure the key priorities of the “go-to market” strategy are being adhered to and collections are landing as planned
- Visiting suppliers and attending trade fairs in the UK and Europe
Please note this role is 40 hours per week.
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Experience working as an Assistant Buyer across multiple product categories
- Experience with jackets, technical outdoor products, and snow sports products
- Good numerical skills
- A creative mindset
- Commercial thinking and market awareness
- Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence others
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
