About this Role
In this role, you will work closely with lecturers to support individuals or small groups, helping learners stay engaged and make steady progress. You will prepare learning materials, keep student records up to date and help track progress towards targets. Supporting learners to build confidence, communication skills and independence is key, including through community-based activities.
You will also support enrolment, exams, meetings and the smooth day-to-day running of the course, providing additional support, including personal care where needed, to help every learner succeed.
About You
- Experience working with young people in post-16 education, training or similar settings.
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Awareness of safeguarding, or willingness to complete training.
- Good general education, including GCSE English and maths at grade C (or equivalent).
