Key Responsiblities
Partnering with directors and programme leads to develop and deliver communications plans for key initiatives.
Designing structured approaches to change communications, including stakeholder mapping and audience insight.
Creating messaging frameworks, toolkits, FAQs and briefing materials for leaders.
Supporting and coaching leaders to communicate effectively during change.
Planning and delivering engagement activities such as workshops, events and town halls.
Monitoring engagement, feedback and sentiment, and adapting communications accordingly.
Ensuring alignment with Sense’s overall narrative, values and priorities.
Working closely with internal communications channel specialists to deliver across the right platforms.
Managing complex or sensitive communications with professionalism and care.
What we’re looking for
Strong experience in internal communications, including supporting organisational change or transformation.
Proven ability to develop and deliver effective communication plans.
Confident stakeholder manager, with experience advising and influencing senior leaders.
Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Experience working in large, complex or multi-site organisations.
Understanding of change communications and employee engagement principles.
Strong digital skills (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint).
A good understanding of inclusive and accessible communication practices.
Experience in a charity, health or social care setting would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
