This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll own and continuously improve our internal communication channels, including our intranet, email communications and internal social platforms. You’ll create engaging, accessible content, use data to drive improvements, and help ensure every colleague feels informed, included and connected.
Working as part of a small but high-impact team, you’ll strengthen the foundations of internal communications at Sense and help bring our values and culture to life.
Key Responsibilities
Owning and improving our intranet, email platform and internal channels to maximise engagement and usability.
Managing the internal communications editorial calendar and building a strong network of contributors.
Creating and publishing engaging, accessible content across multiple formats (articles, newsletters, campaigns, video).
Producing simple visual assets and filming/editing internal video content.
Monitoring performance, analysing engagement data and using insight to improve communications.
Supporting the rollout and adoption of new internal tools and channels.
Championing accessible, inclusive and values-led communication across the organisation.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in internal communications, including managing digital channels (intranet/social platforms).
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Experience planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns.
Confidence using data and analytics to improve engagement.
Basic design and video editing skills.
Strong digital skills (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams).
A good understanding of accessible and inclusive communication.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
Experience in a charity, health or social care setting would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.
