What skills and experience we're looking for
Alverton School are looking to appoint a full time, experienced teacher to work in Key Stage 2. This role will begin on 1st September 2026 and is offered as a permanent position.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful, hard-working and friendly team who want to give the children the very best learning experience that they can.
About You:
The successful applicants will be employed in Key Stage 2. The applicants must:
have a positive track record for pupil progress;
have a track record of excellence in their classroom practice;
have an understanding of current pedagogy;
be able to evidence classroom management skills;
have a proven ability to work as part of a team;
maintain, form and develop strong professional relationships within our learning community;
show a high level of commitment to, and enthusiasm for, the role;
have energy, flexibility and drive;
have high expectations for themselves and their pupils.
