Key Responsibilities As a valued member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, highquality and patientcentred care. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring all patient documentation is accurate, comprehensive and maintained to the highest standard. Communicating effectively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure prescribed treatments are delivered safely and promptly. Maintaining the safe custody and administration of medicines, and escalating any discrepancies immediately. Undertaking extended clinical duties within the unit, as authorised by the Nursing Advisory Committee. Education and Professional Development We are committed to supporting your growth and development. In this role, you will: Assist with the orientation of new staff and nursing observers. Take responsibility for your own professional development through research, innovation and attendance at relevant study days. Participate in research projects that contribute to the advancement of nursing practice. Teach and support colleagues as part of the departments inservice education programme. Supervise and facilitate the learning of nursing students and other learners within the workplace.
