An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our not-for-profit organisation as a Business Support Coordinator. We are seeking a graduate or professional who is highly proactive and well-organised to support operational and administrative output.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Service Director, who has oversight of all our services in London and Essex consisting of over 700 staff and 600 clients. An excellent standard of verbal and written English is essential as well as an interest in working in the not-for-profit health and social care sector.
We are looking for an individual with gumption and a can-do attitude to join our expanding London team, providing administrative and operational support to our services across 11 different boroughs in London and Essex. The successful candidate will have a flexible base, including in the main London office in North London along with undertaking frequent travel to other parts of London/Essex to support our services as needed. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Completing a variety of tasks allocated by the Service Director
• Undertaking rota checks to ensure all commissioned hours are delivered
• Monitoring overtime for staff
• Complete invoicing schedules for the finance team to reflect frontline delivery
• Monitoring financial performance of services against budgets
• Planning and supporting interviews
• Working with the Recruitment Team to ensure roles are advertised
• Writing job packs and adverts to fill vacancies
• Monitoring agency expenditure against local and national KPI’s
• Working with our central Bank Team to agree agency bookings
• Helping to set up new services
An approachable and warm manner, along with excellent customer care skills is essential. The role also requires an individual with strong numerical proficiency and excellent attention to detail in order to manage accurate financial records and service invoicing. The skills to accurately input data onto databases, minute meetings and use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are necessary to succeed in this role. You will enjoy working as a team as well as using your initiative and working independently. This role will suit someone with resilience and enthusiasm who relishes a new challenge each day.
