Job Summary
Nurture relationships with existing and prospective partners and individuals through compelling and effective communications
Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to increase awareness of Help to Claim, reaching people in need of support, especially those who are minoritised or underserved by Help to Claim
Main duties and responsibilities
Help the national Help to Claim team understand the barriers that minoritised or underserved groups might face when accessing Help to Claim
Drive new client enquiries and referrals by building strong connections with community groups, health professionals, charities, and local organisations
Attend community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to showcase HTC service and raise awareness
Organise open days and promotional events to encourage potential client referrals
Support the development of new initiatives and events to increase engagement
Partnership & Service Development
Build and maintain strong relationships with local district partners to explore opportunities for collaborative working
Act as a central link between external organisations and internal departments to support integrated service delivery
Provide insight and feedback on trends, opportunities, and areas for service improvement
Performance Monitoring
Produce and share weekly performance updates with Service managers, focusing on community & partnership, trends, and progress against targets / KPI’s
Collate, analyse, and report key performance figures to senior management to support informed decision making and track progress against targets
Highlight areas for improvement and recommend actions to support growth of the service
Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date information about partner organisations within service districts
Skills & Experience
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Confident networker with experience speaking to community groups or external partners
Experience in business development, community engagement, sales, or similar roles (charity experience desirable)
Good organisational and event-planning skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Good IT skills are essential, with experience of Google suite preferred

Attend relevant internal and external meetings as agreed with your Line Manager
Prepare for and attend supervision and appraisal meetings
Attend internal and external training as may be necessary to carry out your duties

Other duties and responsibilities
Uphold the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice service and its equal opportunities policies
Ensure GDPR training is completed as required (currently annually)
Abide by Health and Safety guidelines and share responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues.
Be able to accommodate reasonable changes in working hours in order to meet the needs of the business

Person Specification

Proficient with IT, cloud based systems and databases
Excellent written communication skills, proven ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing
Experience of managing your own time effectively in response to competing priorities
Ability to sift through information and extract what is relevant.

Close attention to detail and ability to interpret and communicate complex information
