Immediate Vacancy: 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Warrington
Are you resilient, patient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a challenging but rewarding primary school in Warrington, starting immediately.
What We Offer:
• Full-time position: Monday to Friday (school hours)

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
• Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs in a primary school setting
• Supporting the pupil’s academic progress and engagement in lessons
• Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour effectively
• Implementing strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
• Monitoring and recording progress, behaviour, and achievements
• Promoting independence, confidence, and social development
What We’re Looking For:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Recent experience working with children within the last 2 years
• Ability to provide two references confirming your experience with children
• A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
• Experience supporting children with behavioural needs or SEN is highly desirable
