Environmental Service Delivery Manager - Waste
Grade: 5.1
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Various shifts available, start times from 06:00am and 15:00pm. Bank holiday work is required and some Saturday work is potentially required.
Location: Chapel Mill Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 3GZ

What you'll be doing;
● Use digital systems on a daily basis to manage services and people
● Ensure all staff are aware of and strictly follow health and safety procedures at all times and carry out regular field inspections to ascertain safe working practices
● Ensure all resources are in a safe, clean and operable working condition; report and monitor any occurring issues/defects without delay and ensure all accidents are fully investigated
● Update and completing events within the contract management information system(ECHO) to ensure all raised tasks/issues are dealt with in a timely manner in accordance with the required SLA
● Liaise with the Contract Management team, administrators and other Veolia
departments in regard to service issues and taking improvement action in any area requiring improvement
● Assist in management and control of sickness and absence levels being responsible for taking improvement/remedial action
● Investigate and report to the Line Manager if accidents/damage takes place
● Advise where additional training is required, and to recognise where Operatives
could be given the opportunity to further their career within the company
What we're looking for;
Essential:
● Basic understanding of IT systems
● Customer-oriented/service delivery focused
● Driving licence
● Strong people management and team leadership skills
● Stakeholder relationship management
Desirable:
● Previous use of digital systems to manage services & people - Desirable
● Prior experience within Waste Management is highly advantageous
