What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an experienced HLTA with a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent experience, looking to join a highly committed and enthusiastic staff team at our supportive, dynamic and vibrant school?
Clapham Manor Primary School and Nursery seeks an experienced HLTA who can work alongside our dedicated teaching staff to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils to achieve the highest levels of progress and attainment. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering classes in the absence of the class teacher, working with classes throughout the whole school and liaising closely with the teachers, who will provide the planning for the lessons. Energy, optimism and enthusiasm are essential in order to share our passion for ‘growing brighter futures’.

The ideal candidate will:
• Be experienced in taking responsibility for a whole class
• Have good behaviour management
• Be confident working with children of all ages from 3-11years
• Be a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic classroom practitioner
• Have an ability and commitment to engage, motivate and inspire all children to learn, achieve and make good progress
• Have a real belief in inclusivity and the fact that all children can be supported to be successful
• Have a good general knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
• Have commitment to high standards of attainment and achievement
• Have flexibility, resilience, adaptability and commitment to working as part of a team
• Be passionate about education in a school deeply rooted in the local community
