About the role of Commercial Manager:
Opportunity for an experienced sub-contractor quantity surveyor/commercial manager to join the UK team of a London based logistics business. They currently have sites all across Europe but this role will be focus on London and the surrounding counties. Ideally looking for someone with some main contracting or civils background as a lot of projects they're undertaking involve site temps, groundworks and enabling works.
Responsibilities for Commercial Manager:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Overseeing multiple projects at a time with varying valuations ranging up to £5 million.
- Assisting with procurement.
- Managing trade packages.
- General commercial cost management.
- Site Meetings.
Requirements for Commercial Manager:
- Minimum 1+ years' experience at a main/civils contractor.
- Ideally logistics or sub-contracting experience.
- Familiar with NEC contracts.
- Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
