We’re looking for a confident, customer focused IT Service Desk Advisor to join our IT Services team and help us keep technology running smoothly across the College.

The Role
As our IT Service Desk Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support across the College. You will:
• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, networks and College
systems
• Log, track, and resolve incidents with clear communication throughout
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels
• Produce and update knowledge articles
• Support major incidents alongside the wider IT team
• Promote good cyber security practice
• Assist with IT equipment distribution, collection, loans, and inventory
• Look for opportunities to improve processes and sustainability across the IT
estate
The Person
You’ll be friendly, approachable, and committed to helping people solve problems. You bring strong communication skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You’ll have experience supporting users, logging issues, and working in a customer focused IT Service Desk environment for at least 2 years. An understanding of Microsoft 365, operating systems and basic troubleshooting is important, and you’ll be keen to learn and develop your career in IT. Qualifications such as A Levels, IT Level 3, Microsoft certifications or ITIL would be beneficial but not essential.
