Salary:£180 – £250 per day
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established three-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge, for an experienced and motivated Year 6 Class Teacher to join their team after the Easter break 2026.
The school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for its supportive leadership team, collaborative staff culture, and commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
The role:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering engaging and structured lessons that support pupils during their final year of Key Stage 2. You will play an important role in helping pupils build confidence and prepare for the transition to secondary school while maintaining a broad and stimulating curriculum.
The school is looking for someone who:

Has a strong understanding of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 6
•
Is confident supporting pupils with SATs preparation
•
Demonstrates strong classroom management and high expectations for achievement
•
Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in reading, writing, and mathematics
•
Works effectively as part of a team within a larger three-form entry setting
•
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
