Your new role
- Delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that maintain continuity of learning across different classes and key stages.
- Adapting quickly to new environments and following school policies, routines and planning where provided.
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities, ensuring all children remain focused, motivated and on track.
- Managing behaviour confidently and maintaining a positive, purposeful classroom atmosphere.
- Contributing to the wider school community by modelling professionalism, flexibility and a proactive approach.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching across one or more primary year groups, with the confidence to step into different classes at short notice.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
- Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching with limited preparation time.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, dependable working style.
