The Faculty of Health plays an active part in addressing today's most challenging healthcare and psychological issues, through research-informed teaching and active, real-world learning. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the progressive Faculty, where you really can make a difference.

About the role

A position is available for a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Administrator to provide administrative and placement support within the extremely busy School of Health Professions team. Under the direction of the Senior Programme Administrator and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of a customer focused, integrated delivery of cost effective and efficient programme and practise placement administrative support service. Each individual contributes to the administration and placement support of designated programmes and seeks to enhance the stduent experience throughout their time with the University of Plymouth.

The tasks will include:

• Direct contact with students, placement providers ands staff, responding to their queries. This will include maintaining student reecords, allocation of student placements and related activity
• Updating programme documents
• Providing and collating programme data as required
• Provide support to the Senior Programme Administrator in addition to providing support across the team.

This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2027 due to Business Demand.

For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

There are peak periods during the academic year when annual leave is restricted, during these times flexible and extended working may be required. Flexible working, includign job share may be considered.

The post will be located in Intercity Place situated on the University's main campus, close to the city centre. Travel to other sites may be necessary on occasion.

• Experience of work in a programme administration related environment is preferred.
