IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established and busy manufacturing client in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time work with a clear path to permanent employment.
Working Pattern-
Hours: 6am - 6pm (rotating shifts 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

Knock out moulds to remove shells post casting operation.

Water blast moulds to remove residual shell for band saw operations.

Cut castings using semi-automatic and manual band saws.

Trim casting gates and remove surplus shell/metal.

Dry blast components for a uniform matte finish.

Remove hot moulds to support casting processes.

Pack and identify castings for subcontract processes.

Follow strict health and safety procedures and identify hazards.

Work safely and collaboratively with team members.

Assist team members with daily tasks as needed.

Proven experience maintaining safe working practices in challenging environments.

Ability to follow job card routines and set procedures.

Ability to interpret routing cards to meet specified standards.

Ability to identify defects and perform quality checks.

Temporary to permanent role with full-time hours.

Structured shift patterns (Earlies & Lates).
