Oadby and Wigston Borough Council are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Corporate Assets team.

The Corporate Assets team are responsible for managing our buildings across the Borough.

The Assistant Premises Officer role will carry out a range of cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs tasks as well as setting up & moving furniture for events and meetings. This will occasionally include working outside in adverse weather conditions.

The role will be predominantly Monday to Friday from noon through to 20.00 pm or a split shift including early shift cover in the absence of the Premises Officer. We will also require the successful postholder to occasionally stay until 21.00/22.00 pm to lock up after late meetings.

There may be occasions when weekends may be required to work and time off in lieu will be granted.
