Crynodeb
The Role
The role will ensure effective resident consultation and engagement throughout the completion of planned and retrofit works in occupied premises. Contribute to community engagement plans and initiatives to counter joblessness and financial exclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and discuss key aspects of proposed works with tenants throughout all stages of work using appropriate communication forms
Arrange project appropriate consultation forums including public meetings, open days and drop-in sessions to engage with tenants
Lead on all aspects of resident engagement and consultation minimising disruption to achieve resident satisfaction for successful works delivery
Maintain regular on-site presence to all dwellings throughout all work stages to ensure on-going resident consultation and satisfaction with the works
Foresee barriers and risks to successful works delivery including access difficulties, implementing timely measures to overcome and meet project targets
Monitor the activities of the contractors Resident Liaison Officer to ensure contractors obligations are fully completed and records / reports kept of resident interactions
Investigate and timely resolve requests, queries and complaints from residents and stakeholders in accordance with set procedures keeping all parties updated
Contribute to the team activities including with general project administrative tasks
We are looking for someone who has
Experience dealing with residents in a social housing environment
Proven experience in resident or stakeholder engagement
Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Experience collating information from several sources to undertake tasks and to create and update plans
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
