We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a busy and well-established Highland hotel located in the heart of Aviemore, within the stunning Cairngorms National Park.

This popular hotel restaurant serves a high volume of guests and has built a strong reputation for quality food, warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere. It is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to step into their first Junior Sous role, or an experienced Junior Sous looking to further develop within a supportive and professional kitchen.

The Role
Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the kitchen, helping ensure smooth service and consistently high food standards.

Key Responsibilities
-Supporting the senior kitchen team in the smooth running of service
-Assisting with preparation and organisation across kitchen sections
-Helping to train and guide junior chefs
-Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
-Ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed

What We’re Looking For
-Experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a busy kitchen
-Passion for fresh food and delivering quality dishes
-Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
-Strong teamwork and communication skills
-A positive and motivated attitude
