Interim Health and Safety Manager*

Description
We are seeking an Interim Health and Safety Manager to join our team and lead the implementation and management of our health and safety policies and programs. As an essential part of our workforce, the Interim Health and Safety Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our workplace remains safe, compliant, and conducive to the well-being of all employees. This position requires a proactive mindset, as you will be responsible for identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures. During this interim period, you will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate safety initiatives across the organization. You will be instrumental in conducting risk assessments, facilitating training sessions, and maintaining our records concerning health and safety compliance. Your expertise will help us navigate any challenges that arise during this interim period while ensuring our employees feel secure and valued. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
Train and educate employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and action plans to prevent future occurrences.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of necessary documentation.
Promote a culture of health and safety across all departments and levels of the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in a corporate setting.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £481.52
