Location: Basingstoke

Position Type: Full-Time, 9-Month Contract

Shift: Night Shift (Mon-Fri, 22:00 - 06:00)

Pay Rate: £13.79 per hour + 30% Shift Allowance

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and methodical Manufacturing Operator to join our production team. You will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring products are assembled, packaged, and documented to the highest quality standards.

This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that relies on teamwork and attention to detail.

What You'll Do
  • Production: Operate machinery, supervise conveyors, and assist with equipment validation.

  • Assembly & Packing: Weigh, label, and seal containers; wrap and pack products according to work orders.

  • Quality Control: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate Batch Manufacture Records (BMR).

  • Compliance: Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in line with ISO/cGMP regulations.

  • Maintenance: Use hand tools for equipment setup and perform line clearances.

Shift Information
  • Training Period: You will initially work a rotating shift (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) for training.

  • Fixed Shift: Once trained, you will move to the permanent night shift (22:00-06:00).

  • Overtime: Available during weekends or extended shift hours.

Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a lab or manufacturing environment is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn manufacturing systems (QAD/Agile).

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for long periods and infrequently lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Mindset: A strong focus on quality, a methodical approach to tasks, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Education: Secondary education or an Advanced Certificate.
