Manufacturing Operator II

The Role
Join a fast-paced manufacturing team dedicated to producing products that contribute to global health and safety. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing and packaging of dehydrated culture media.

Location: Basingstoke
Type: Full-time, 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Weekly rotation (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)

This is a dynamic, hands-on role where accuracy and safety are the top priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Production: Follow defined processes to create batch manufacturing records, print labels, and use specialized equipment.

Inventory: Update the stock management system (SAP) and maintain digital training records.

Safety & Quality: Actively participate in daily departmental meetings and adhere to all safety and performance metrics.

Continuous Improvement: Share ideas to strengthen performance and embrace a "find a better way" mindset.

Requirements
Technical Skills: Good literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to record data accurately.

Computer Literacy: Comfortable using computers, including email and basic data entry.

Mindset: High reliability, personal accountability, and a "customer first" approach.

Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential.
