Location: Basingstoke
Shift: Mon - Fri (Rotating 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)
Pay Rate: £13.79 per hour
Contract: 9 Months (Full-Time)
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and methodical Manufacturing Operator II to join our production team in Basingstoke. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end assembly, packaging, and quality inspection of products within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
This is an onsite position that requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly: Operate conveyors, set up production lines, and perform manual assembly and packaging tasks.
Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished goods at every stage to ensure they meet strict quality standards.
Documentation: Accurately record production data (weights, times, dates) and use manufacturing systems (QAD/Agile) to print and manage documents.
Line Clearance: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, ensuring the reconciliation and disposal of materials between jobs.
Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to ISO/cGMP standards.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or lab environment is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to read technical drawings or blueprints.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable standing for long periods and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Quality Mindset: A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to "Good Documentation Practice."
Adaptability: Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to changing production schedules.
Requirements & Environment
Education: Secondary education or equivalent (Advanced Certificate preferred).
Dress Code: Must be willing to wear PPE (Safety glasses provided). Note: No makeup or jewelry is permitted in the production area.
Overtime: Availability for occasional overtime (weekends or extended shift hours) is required.
