About the role:
You will plan and deliver physics lessons across KS3 and KS4, assess progress, support learners of all abilities and contribute to the wider science team. You will create a positive learning environment and maintain strong subject knowledge.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Deliver high quality physics lessons
- Plan, assess and track student progress
- Support learners with varying levels of ability
- Maintain strong behaviour management
- Contribute to departmental planning and development
- Promote engagement, curiosity and scientific thinking
Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in physics
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to differentiate and support mixed ability groups
- Commitment to safeguarding and high professional standards
