Are you a high-achieving Chemistry or Physics graduate looking to gain hands-on school experience in a supportive secondary environment?
We are working with a Good graded Secondary School in Tower Hamlets seeking a motivated and academically strong Graduate Teaching Assistant (Chemistry or Physics) to join their science department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a well-resourced school just a short walk from Aldgate East Station, making it easily accessible from across London.
This role is ideal for aspiring Science teachers or graduates considering a future in education, offering valuable classroom experience and the opportunity to work alongside experienced subject specialists.
The Role:
• Provide 1:1 and small group intervention support in Chemistry or Physics
• Support engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 exposure available)
• Assist with practical experiments and laboratory preparation
• Help students prepare for GCSE examinations
• Work closely with experienced Science teachers and department leaders
• Foster a positive, focused and inclusive learning environment
