We are looking for an administrator/health care support worker (HCSW) to join our Broomfield HIV team.

If successful you will primarily have an administration role within the HIV clinic, assisting the admin team with writing letters, scanning, filing, managing calls and general office support.

But you will also be assisting the day to day running of the clinic this will include checking patients in, healthcare checks observations phlebotomy and assisting the Clinical nurse specialists on patient home visits.

This role is vital to ensure the smooth running of the HIV service; so if you are a HCSW looking for a new role that includes admin, please apply today.

If successful, some of your duties will include:
• Being responsible for entering data onto the clinical system INFORM, printing labels, scanning documents and pulling and filing of notes.
• Ensuring that all telephone calls are dealt with in a timely, polite and courteous manner.
• Providing full administrative support to the admin team: typing general correspondence letters.
• Liaising with patients and GP’s on the telephone, and direct them to the appropriate person.
• Ensuring all patients have notes or equivalent ready for clinic as well as blood labels in times of absence of the team secretary.
• Maintaining excellent communication with patients and relatives regarding all aspects of care demonstrating a variety of communication skills in accordance with the client group.
• Supporting Consultant and Nurse led clinics to assist clinically with weight and height measurement, blood pressure measurement and phlebotomy.
