Hays are proud to be supporting a large, diverse two‑form‑entry primary school located in Coventry. The school are looking for a motivated Year 3 teacher to join them after Easter until the end of the summer term. This is a full‑time position with full teaching responsibilities, though part‑time may be considered.
Your new role
- Delivering well‑structured, engaging lessons that support pupils' transition into Key Stage 2 learning.
- Working collaboratively with the Year 3 team to ensure consistency in planning, assessment and curriculum delivery.
- Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support or challenge.
- Monitoring progress, maintaining accurate assessment records and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and demonstrating a commitment to its inclusive ethos.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally within lower Key Stage 2.
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, purposeful teaching.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
