Your new role
The school is looking to appoint a part‑time Year 3 class teacher from March until the end of the academic year. You will take responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing within the Year 3 curriculum on your allocated days (Thursday, Friday), working closely with your fellow class teacher to ensure consistency across the year group. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, maintaining strong classroom routines and building positive relationships with pupils and families. You'll be joining a friendly staff team who value collaboration and clear communication.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally within Lower KS2
- Confident behaviour management and secure understanding of the Year 3 curriculum
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan effectively
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to year‑group planning
- A commitment to providing pupils with a stable, high‑quality learning experience
