The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Construction Managers to join a leading rail client delivering major infrastructure works on behalf of Network Rail. These roles form part of the North West & Central Framework, with projects primarily based in the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract position (Inside IR35) on high-profile rail schemes with a respected delivery partner in the UK rail sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations across rail infrastructure projects
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage subcontractors and direct labour teams
- Maintain strict compliance with Network Rail standards and procedures
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, and commercial teams
- Drive health & safety performance and ensure CDM compliance
- Lead site meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders
- Maintain quality assurance and documentation in line with client requirements

Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager within the UK rail sector
- Previous delivery experience on Network Rail infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of rail standards, processes, and assurance requirements
- Experience managing multidisciplinary rail works (civils, structures, track, E&P or signalling advantageous)
- Valid PTS and relevant rail competencies
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
