Hays Education is seeking a passionate and dynamic German Teacher to support a vibrant, values‑driven secondary school in the Kettering area. This role allows you to deliver engaging German lessons and PSHE cover with no planning, marking, or parents' evening commitments, enabling you to focus purely on high‑quality teaching.
What You'll Do:
* Teach engaging and interactive German lessons across KS3-KS4
* Deliver PSHE sessions using clear, pre‑prepared materials
* Promote confidence, curiosity and language enjoyment in the classroom
* Uphold strong behaviour expectations and foster a positive learning environment
* Follow department planning and school policies to ensure consistency for students
* Work closely with a supportive and collaborative staff team
* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom aligned with the school's culture and values
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE (MFL) or equivalent
* Experience delivering German in a secondary school setting
* Ability to deliver PSHE content confidently using pre‑set resources
* Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills
* Adaptable, professional and able to build rapport quickly
* A passion for languages and supporting students of all abilities
