Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher to support a high‑performing, community‑driven secondary school in the Kettering area. The school is known for its vibrant culture, strong pastoral focus, and celebration of the arts. This role allows you to teach engaging French lessons and deliver PSHE cover with no planning, marking, or parents' evening requirements, ensuring you can focus fully on high-quality classroom delivery.

What You'll Do:
* Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons across KS3-KS4
* Provide confident PSHE cover using pre‑prepared lesson materials
* Maintain positive behaviour and uphold high expectations within the classroom
* Create a welcoming and respectful learning atmosphere that encourages participation
* Follow department plans and school policies to ensure continuity for learners
* Work collaboratively with supportive and creative subject teams
* Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment aligned with the school's values

✅ What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE (MFL) or equivalent
* Experience teaching French at secondary level
* Confidence delivering PSHE from clear and structured resources
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* A proactive, adaptable and professional approach
* Ability to build strong rapport with students and contribute positively to the school's culture
