What skills and experience we're looking for
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Work alongside the Headteacher to formulate aims for whole-school improvement with a direct impact on pupil life chances.
• Inclusion & SEND: Lead the Inclusion team to develop an ambitious vision aligned with the School Development Plan.
• Safeguarding Excellence: Take full lead on child protection, staying up-to-date with national developments and ensuring all staff understand all aspects of safeguarding.
• Staff Development: Line manage teaching and support staff while overseeing the induction and coaching of ITT and Early Career Teachers (ECT).
• Culture: Embed a positive behaviour culture of respect, resilience and responsibility across the entire school community.

• An Expert Practitioner: A QTS-qualified teacher with a proven track record of impact.
• A Strategic Thinker: Someone who can translate the SEND Code of Practice into effective day-to-day classroom reality.
• A Compassionate Advocate: Passionate about removing barriers for disadvantaged pupils and working closely with families.
• A Lifelong Learner: Committed to their own professional development and the growth of their colleagues.
