Summary
We are announcing the opening of a brand-new, high-specification 3-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in Oldbury and we are seeking an experienced and qualified Children's Home Registered Manager to take full oversight of this service from the ground up. This is an opportunity to shape a new home's culture, recruit your own team, and set the standard for excellence in care.

***Notice Period Retainer: A £2,000 (monthly) retainer paid while you serve your notice period with your current employer
*** Salary: A competitive basic of £55,000

Key Responsibilities
*Full Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the 3-bed EBD home in line with Ofsted regulations.
*Culture Building: Establish a nurturing, trauma-informed environment
* Compliance: Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations.
* Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and develop a high-performing staff team.
Requirements:
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
*Proven track record as a Registered Manager
* Deep understanding of EBD and Ofsted inspection frameworks.
*Must be within a 60-minute commute of Oldbury (e.g., Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Halesowen, Stourbridge).
