Calderdale’s Integrated Commissioning, Contracts and Quality Team are pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity for an experienced individual to join them in achieving their vision of improving outcomes for adults and children and young people in Calderdale.
The Integrated Commissioning, Contracts and Quality Team wish to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to work across a range of commissioning programmes in both adults and children’s services.
Working as a Commissioning Officer within the Integrated Commissioning Team and with other commissioners and stakeholders within the Local Authority, Health and the wider system, the post holder will research, identify, support and lead on the development, commissioning and performance management of commissioning projects, initiatives and services designed to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, their families and vulnerable adults.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional who is committed to providing a high quality service, is self-motivating and able to use their initiative. The successful candidate will join an experienced Integrated Commissioning Team, reporting to a Senior Commissioning Officer and will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience of commissioning and project management across children’s and adults services.
We would welcome applications from individuals with a demonstrable record of influencing and negotiation, working with local partners and stakeholders and with a good knowledge of children’s or adults social care commissioning and legislation.
