The Company
Our client is a major manufacturer and supplier of hydraulic solutions and equipment into the hazardous area environment industries such as the industrial and marine. With specific solutions tailored to their customers’ requirements.
The Role
This is a fundamental role in the company’s business strategy and requires an individual of an ambitious nature. Managing the supply of hydraulic solutions to their customers within industrial, energy and marine.
The role manages the supply from cradle to grave, involved with the design, project timescales, project control, project cycle, and project delivery. Ensuring Project objectives are delivered, planning throughout the project life cycle, overseeing project documentation, work packs and RAMS. Managing materials and manpower and monitoring progress. managing the product supply through the supply project and dealing with any issues which could arise. Applicants should come with either Project Engineering or Mechanical Design experience as this skill base makes up a vast part of this role. This role is all about managing the customers’ expectations and developing solutions to issues and maintain the contract obligations. Graduates of Mechanical Engineering with a desire to learn will also be warmly welcomed.
The Candidate
Suitable applicants should be able to show some Project Engineering / Mechanical Design background or be a Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, within Engineering projects, large engineering solution projects or manufacturing that supplies to the above sectors. Managing projects, maintaining relationships, commercially aware of P&L and be willing to go the extra mile to fulfil obligations. These Projects will be relatively large and require applicants with some basic Project Engineering Experience from with the Industrial or Marine sectors. Ideally applicants will come from with interest in the manufacturing sector and be looking for a challenging new or first role. Applicants must be able to demonstrate high levels of drive.
