Security Clearance Requirements

Please note that holding current Security Clearance is not essential at the time of application, but eligibility is required.

This role requires the successful candidate to be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance. To meet this requirement, applicants must:

Have the right to work in the UK
Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years
Not have spent more than 6 months outside the UK in total during that period
Be willing to undergo security vetting as part of the onboarding process

About the Role
We are seeking a Group Administrative Assistant to join our Shared Services function, based at our Liverpool HQ.

This role is central to the smooth day-to-day running of the office and wider business. You’ll provide administrative and coordination support across HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Contracts & Commercial, while also supporting front-of-house and office operations.

The role is primarily office-based during probation due to operational responsibilities. Following successful completion, hybrid working (one day per week from home) may be available, subject to business needs.

This position requires eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance (SC).

Key Objectives

Provide high-quality administrative support across Shared Services
Ensure effective front-of-house and office operations
Support scheduling, communication, travel, and event coordination
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Contribute to a professional and welcoming environment

What Success Looks Like

The office operates smoothly and visitors are welcomed professionally
Teams feel supported with timely, accurate admin assistance
Meetings, travel, and events are well organised
Information is handled confidentially
You manage your workload effectively and escalate when needed

Requirements

Willingness to work on-site at Liverpool HQ
At least 12 months’ relevant admin experience
Eligibility to obtain and maintain SC clearance
A flexible, hands-on approach
Professional and responsible attitude

Essential Skills & Experience

Administrative, office support, or front-of-house experience
Meeting and diary coordination
Strong communication skills
Confidence using Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience handling confidential information

Desirable (Not Essential)

Experience supporting HR, recruitment, or finance
Travel or event coordination
Familiarity with internal systems
Basic Health & Safety knowledge
Interest in wellbeing or mental health initiatives
