This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your
expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning. Hydrosave is part of the South Staffordshire Group –
a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering
long-term development and career progression.
We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Leakage Data Analyst to join our Thames Water Leakage Framework team. This is
a pivotal role responsible for targeting and analysing datasets to identify leakage opportunities for Field Technicians to
investigate, ensuring campaigns are delivered efficiently, safely and in line with contractual KPIs.
You will play a key role in driving productivity, supporting field operations, and maintaining robust and accurate campaign
records. Acting as a central link between field teams and management, you will ensure seamless communication, continuous
improvement, and full compliance with safety and quality standards.
The Role:
* Own and manage leakage campaigns, unaccounted for water (UFW) investigations and integrity analysis.
* Analyse datasets ahead of DMA campaigns to develop effective tactical plans using a Plan, Do, Check, Act approach.
* Track repair SLAs, operational compliance and KPI performance, providing data for monthly contract reporting.
* Coordinate and analyse lift and shift logger data to identify leakage opportunities.
* Support and review in-pipe camera surveillance activities, ensuring accurate data recording.
* Provide actionable insights and suspected leakage points to field teams to maximise productivity.
* Attend Entry and Exit interviews to agree survey strategies and review campaign findings.
* Participate in daily and weekly client meetings, providing clear campaign updates.
* Maintain a robust audit trail of jobs, activities and performance improvement areas.
* Proactively identify operational issues and escalate appropriately to support contract success.
What you’ll need:
* Proven experience in data analysis and data manipulation.
* Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience using data management systems and producing performance reports.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
* Good understanding of Health, Safety & Wellbeing practices.
* Flexible and adaptable to meet operational demands and shift patterns.
* Water network or leakage knowledge (desirable).
What you’ll get in return:
* Family-Friendly Leave
Enhanced Maternity, Adoption, Paternity & Shared Parental Leave, Fertility Support, and up to 5 paid Carer’s Days.
* Financial & Life Assurance
Life Assurance cover (role dependant) and a Company Pension Scheme with salary sacrifice options.
* Health & Wellbeing
Employee Assistance Programme (8 counselling sessions) and 24/7 Virtual GP access for you and your dependents.
* Lifestyle & Perks
Cycle to Work Scheme and My Premier Benefits discounts, cashback, and vouchers.
* Professional Development
Hands-on training and ongoing career development opportunities
* Inclusion & Belonging
Active People Networks – Disability & Neurodiversity, Unity+, Women’s Network, Parent & Carer Networking Group and more.
* Performance & Recognition
Annual salary review, Reward & Recognition Scheme, and Long Service Awards.
* Flexibility & Opportunities
Overtime available and flexible shifts / hybrid working (role dependant)
