We are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a large, friendly two-form entry primary school in Coventry. This role is based within the school’s specialist SEN provision, a dedicated classroom designed to support and welcome pupils with severe additional needs.
You’ll be working closely with an experienced class teacher and a supportive team to provide tailored learning and emotional support to a small group of 6 pupils, ensuring they can thrive in a positive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex and diverse learning needs
- Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programmes
- Support behaviour management and help pupils develop social and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent support
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
